Anyone who knows Rieker knows that most of the time, a 42 is not a 10, but a 10.5. This shoe is no exception, which is good for me since I need that extra 1/2. I also have a myriad of foot issues so I do not usually wear anything but flats, but this 1-1/2 inch heel feels like no heel at all. It is amazingly comfortable! Nice and snug on the body of the foot so no slipping forward to squish your toes. I think they are nice with work slacks or even for an evening out. I am very happy with this purchase.
